The Surround Air Multi-Tech XJ-3000D Air Purifier features an air ionizer that removes allergens bacteria chemicals and other particles from the air. Its HEPA air filter is 99.97 percent effective at trapping particles such as dust and mold. The germicidal UV-light destroys micro-organisms like germs viruses bacteria and mold while an activated carbon filter removes chemicals gases odors and cigarette smoke. The programmable sanitizer can be completely turned off or activated to remove strong odors.

I bought two units, one for each floor of my ranch style home. They do the job perfectly, set only to medium airflow....these are great reasonably priced units that clean the air, reduce dust, and odors, and provide a clean scent all throughout the house, even with pets.

Cats clog up the filter,so quickly that it needs to be cleaned weekly. I still suffer with allergies from the pollen and cat dandruff (pollen)

No, getting rid of the cats is out of the question.
This product is great and has helped alleviate some of my allergic reactions, but it is allergy season. The farmer is at work...

I use this air purifier in the main living area of the house and in the evening I move it to the bedroom. The optional ionizer is a brilliant idea and one of the reasons I recommend this product.

I have owned four of these purifiers. The first two were used in a basement with mold/mildew problems. One unit became noisy when on high fan sped after 6 months but still worked. Purifier greatly improved conditions. Purchased two more units for use in other parts of the house. I have been very happy with the units. Easy to maintain and operate, much more effective at mold/mildew reduction than another brand that I tried. Only down side is mild fan noise, mostly run on low fan speed.

This Air Purifier works great, my house has never been so easy to breath in. It comes with all the features of the more expensive units at a fraction of th cost. My first Air purifier was the Oreck XL which was just a waste of money as it didn't clean the air well and broke down after 6 months, in comparison the XJ-3000 is way better. [...]

Used in the bedroom for allergies during sleeping. Does an outstanding job. Our bedroom air almost tastes clean, with how well this operates. Sleeping through the night has finally happened.
