Put it in our 900 sq. foot bedroom and turned it on. I returned after a few hours and I was shocked at what a difference it made. As soon as you entered the room and took a deep breath you could tell it made a huge difference. The air smelled clean and crisp and made a big difference in the quality of my sleep. At its highest speed setting it is a bit noisy but I found the noise to be relaxing. To quiet it you can just lower the speed settings with negligible results in air quality.

I have a problem with the fact that there was only a small uninformative flyer with the machine. I would have appreciated a booklet that tells me about the machine as well as where the filter is and how to change it. Instructions are welcomed when a person pays that much money for it. I don't know how it is working in my house but I can say it hasn't lessoned the amount of dust particles on my furniture. That's the only way I know to judge the effectiveness of the machine. I'll be contacting the manufacturer for an instruction booklet. Thank you.

I have developed allergies and asthma since moving into my new apartment. I bought this air purifier in hopes that it would take the allergens out of the air. When I got it, I turned it on high for two hours. The sun was shining into my apartment at the time, and I could see a lot of dust in the air. Within two hours, the dust had completely vanished and the air was extremely clean. Visibly CLEAN! The unit is very user-friendly. Just plug it in and turn it on. There is an ionization feature that can be turned off or on. I like this too, as ionized air has been shown to promote a feeling of well-being. I researched quite a few units before I bought. This one seemed to be the best unit for the price. It is very loud on high, but it has 4 settings and the lowest makes no sound at all. The second setting makes a low fan-like sound. Hardly noticeable. Third and fourth settings are a bit loud, but it can be turned up when you leave the house and turned down when you return and the air is completely clean. I would recommend this unit to anyone who has allergy problems!

We were doing a lot of remodeling and have a acquired another cat and dog....we already have one cat. All the humans were waking up with either a cough or boogies or both. We always seem to have one respiratory issue or another. Our HVAC guy tested our air quality, it was 50mil +/-particles per cubic feet. The outside air was 600-800k, we're near a freeway and next to a 4 lane street. I bought 2 units, one for each bedroom. I had one running all the time at speed 2, it's pretty quiet. The other I move from room to room. We noticed a difference within 2 days. No coughing, no boogies. The HVAC guy happened to be by and tested the air....it was 900k to 1 mil. That was after one week. We have a filtration system in our central air/heat but because we're not done with remodeling, it would be very inefficient. The air cleaner is very easy to take apart and clean. Well worth the money.

I have been a life long severe allergy sufferer living in an older home. Tradional medical treatments and filters have started becoming ineffective.
Since I started using this unit, I have had significant decreases in my allergy symptoms and have even been able to decrease my allergy medications .
I use this in my 400 Sqft living room and am amazed at the effectiveness in reducing airborn allergens that severly affect my health. The only true drawbacks are the lack of a carrying handle for easy movement between rooms and the higher noise level on the upper 2 fans speeds-The 2 lower fan speeds are amazingly quiet. I use the product in my living room, though the room opens to all the other rooms in the apartment. This purifier has worked so well that I no longer sneeze even if I sit on the couch where the cats sit all the time. It is very quiet and I love that it has four different settings, which allows me to set it on low when I am gone, or high I come home and want to lay on the couch after being gone all day. It really moves the air in the room, even on the low setting. I love it!

Product is straight forward and very quiet at the lowest setting. Loud at high settings. Timer is nice extra. You can set this to run for a while when you leave and it will clear the air and turn off by itself. Seems very efficient. Doesn't need to run long to get the dust out. Have not had to service or change filter. As such I am not sure how hard or easy that will be.

My husband is allergic to everything - including our two cats. This air purifier has been in the bedroom for several months - his allergies don't bother him anymore while we are in there. So much better than the Ionic Breeze in the living room. It is kind of loud on the higher settings, but it is a "lulling" sound, so it's not a big deal. And it works great on the lower settings!

Extremely quiet, does a great job at purifying the air. My husband and I both have horrible allergies and notice when we don't turn it on. It was not the cheapest but we did a lot of research and felt this was the best value. We have had our air purifier for almost 2 years and are very pleased with our purchase. The only negative is the appearance, ours was mostly this strange turquoise color with a star trek sort of design. All in all, very pleased with our purchase.

I got this for my wife (who has asthma) to use at night in the bedroom (~ 160 sq.ft.) We run it on low and her snoring has decreased dramatically. I have no trouble sleeping but noticed that I was less congested when I woke up. I didn't even realize I WAS congested until we started running the filter. Now we routinely take it into the living room (~ 200 sq.ft.) and use it there when she has difficulty breathing. Works great. The low setting is quiet enough that it doesn't annoy but it is the fastest relief possible. The filter was only supposed to last 6 months, here it is 6 months later and we just had the first bar (~ 25%) show up on the unit. An excellent product.

This air purifier was purchased for my son who was diagnosed as being allergic to most everything outside and especially mold and dust mites. I had it in position and running within five minutes of opening the box. It is very simple to operate. In just a couple of days, my son has been able to sleep more soundly. His watery eyes and sniffing are clearing up. While you can find cheaper purifiers, I bought this because it has strong fans (loud but not that loud) a lifetime warranty, multifunctional, and most importantly... because it flat out works!

I use the system in the great room which covers the kitchen as well and the product does a fantasic job.
