This LakeAir MaxumZ Media Air Cleaner is especially useful for those who suffer from asthma or other lung related illness because there is no electronic ozone emission that may add additional irritation to those with ultra sensitive airways. The MaxumZ Media Air Cleaner contains a revolutionary filter that has electrostatically charged synthetic media which offers higher particulate efficiency performance than regular poly/cotton media filters. The MaxumZ Media Air Cleaner filter achieves a MERV8 (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating per the ASHRAE Standard 52.2P test method. This high performance filter is impervious to moisture and will not support microbial growth. Electrostatically charged filter is 98% efficient on particulate as small as 5.0 microns in size. The two speed fan provides up to 210 cfm (cubic feet per minute) of pure air on low speed and 275 cfm on high speed. This MaxumZ Media Air Cleaner will clean a 20 x 20 feets room over 5 air changes per hour. Its uniquely designed filter will not absorb moisture from the air and has less restricted air flow than HEPA filters.
