With light gray colored non-offgasing, impact-resistant, UV-stabilized ABS housing and blue locking arms, this IQAir Chemisorber GC Air Purifier is the world's most effective compact room air purifier for the control of gaseous chemicals. Just like a professional gas mask, the Chemisorber GC relies on an interchangeable cartridge design for optimized gaseous pollutant control. The maximum coverage area is 900 square feet (based on maximum fan speed and an 8.5 feet ceiling). The control panel features four-key touch-pad with 32 character LCD display, intelligent filter life monitor, filter life status LED, programmable timer(hourly/daily), 2 speeds, timer status LED, and adjustable filter load index. It features high efficiency HEPA fine dust pre-filter, set of four gas and odor control cartridges (12 Pounds Granular activated carbon and impregnated alumina) and set of four Post-filter sleeves. The micro- and nano-particle filtration (HEPA) eliminates micro- and nano-particles such as allergens, smoke, bacteria and viruses. This thorough particle pre-filtration is essential for extending the life of the gas phase control media by preventing its pores from clogging with particulates. The four filter cartridges hold up to 17 Pounds of granular impregnated alumina with KMnO4 impregnated. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact, which ensures high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high airflow rates. It controls formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, etc. The post filter sleeves eliminate activated carbon and chemisorption abrasion particles through a statically charged fiber structure. This Air Purifier includes filters, remote control, batteries (for remote control), owner's manual, set of four casters, extra long (10 feet) detachable power cable and certificate of guaranteed performance.
