This IQAir AM GCX Air Purifier with light gray colored non-offgasing, impact-resistant, UV-stabilized ABS housing and blue locking arms controls ammonia and ammonia compounds. It is engineered to provide maximum control of gaseous chemicals in a compact room air purifier. Just like a professional gas mask, the GCX Series relies on an interchangeable cartridge design for optimized gaseous pollutant control. It is able to meet almost any moderate gas phase removal need in light commercial environments. The maximum coverage area is 1200 square feet (based on maximum fan speed and an 8.5 feet ceiling). The control panel features four-key touch-pad with 32 character LCD display, intelligent filter life monitor, filter life status LED, programmable timer(hourly/daily), 2 speeds, timer status LED, and adjustable filter load index. This also features high efficiency HEPA fine dust pre-filter, set of four gas and odor control cartridges (21 Pounds Granular impregnated carbon) and set of four Post-filter sleeves. The micro- and nano-particle filtration (HEPA) eliminates micro- and nano-particles such as allergens, smoke, bacteria and viruses. This thorough particle pre-filtration is essential for extending the life of the gas phase control media by preventing its pores from clogging with particulates. The specialized cartridge-based molecular control (GCX Cartridges) has four filter cartridges hold up to 21 Pounds Granular impregnated carbon. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact, which ensures high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high airflow rates. The post filter sleeves eliminate activated carbon and chemisorption abrasion particles through a statically charged fiber structure. The remote control (batteries included), cartridge insertion tool, user manual, certificate of performance, and extra long (10 feet) detachable power cable are included.
