In addition to filtering out allergy-triggering pollen, mold, and dust particles, this air cleaner helps you reduce your energy use and save money on power bills. A Guided Tour of the Paralda
Designed to cover a 400-sq.-ft. space, the Alen Paralda air cleaner features a patent-pending airflow system and HEPA filtration. To achieve faster and more efficient airflow, room air is pulled into the unit from the back and then circulated out of vents located on each side. Its powerful HEPA filter removes 99.97%
of airborne particles measuring 0.3 microns and larger.

To aid the filtration process, the 4-speed unit uses an independently controlled ionizer. When the ionizer is activated, negative ions are released into the air. These ions attach themselves to positively charged particles to form larger particles that are more easily captured by the HEPA filter. For even more effective air purification, this Alen air purifier also uses an internal UV germicidal lamp to eliminate bacteria and other disease-causing pathogens from the filtered air.
