How-It-Works

Ideal for all residential forced air systems, this LakeAir LAD-1814 Air Cleaner is designed to complement both newer high efficiency systems as well as existing older equipment. Easily mounted in a variety of duct openings, LAD units operate on about the same power as a 40 Watt light bulb and provide protection for costly heating and cooling equipment and more importantly, your breathing air. Keep your household cleaner longer by running your system blower fan to recirculate and clean the air in your whole house. It features unique voltage corrosion-resistant doubler design with protection against electrical back feed and improved electrical tolerances and connections. Grid cap connector design allows perfect contact every time and eliminates the possibility of corrosion at contact point or contact bracket damage.

The LAD-1814 Air Cleaner's unique safety latching mechanism has rosette style turn knob which activates the micro safety switch, providing a tight fit. Grounding strap on electronic filtering cell provides safety override back-up for additional protection. The durable electronic filter cell is up to 97% efficient on particulate as small as 0.01 micron in size and can be washed and reused. The low pressure drop or airflow resistance means less strain on your system fan and more even distribution of conditioned air. The carbon after filter is included with all electronic units, will remove odors from purified air for up to 3 to 4 months. It is rated for up to 1,400 cfm or 3 cooling system tons. Choose from beige, silver, or black color and offered with or without air flow switch.
