The Austin Air HealthMate Jr. Plus Air Purifier has HEPA filter, the adsorption media has potassium iodide (KI) added to the activated carbon-zeolite mix. The 6 Pounds of media allows the Austin Air to address the needs of people suffering from MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) in addition to addressing the symptoms of allergy and asthma sufferers. The petite frame size is much smaller than that of the Health Mate HEPA air purifiers so care must be taken to use the model in smaller rooms like bedrooms, home offices, bathrooms, laundries, etc. Choose from sandstone, black, white, silver, pink, or blue color.

Carbon-zeolite mix and potassium iodide enable this air purifier to remove volatile organic chemicals and chemically reactive gases such as ammonia, bleaching solutions, ethylene, formaldehyde, fresh paint and woodworking odors
Cleans up to 700 sq. ft. on high fan speed at 2 air changes per hour, 350 sq ft at 4 air changes per hour (We recommend 4 air changes or more for allergy sufferers.)
